ABOUT US
Who we are
Lugazi Industrial Park is a privately owned industrial facility located in Chisasi, Lugazi, Buikwe District, Uganda. Spanning 120 acres along the crucial Kampala-Jinja-Mombasa Highway, it serves as a key industrial hub, ideally positioned for both local and international trade. Certified by the Lugazi Municipal Council (LMC) and the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA), the park was established in 2019 to boost industrialization and foster economic growth in Uganda.
Our primary mission is to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by offering affordable, ready-to-use industrial spaces. We focus on value addition, providing MSMEs with access to leasing options for factories and warehouses, shared industrial machinery, and other essential services. This enables businesses to overcome the high financial barriers typically associated with entering the manufacturing sector.

Our Working Process
Application and Assessment
SMEs interested in joining LIP begin by submitting an application. We welcome all types of SMEs from various industries.
Selection for Incubation
We believe in a democratic and transparent selection process. Regular pitch weeks are held at the park, where SMEs can present their ideas and business plans.
Access to Infrastructure
Once selected, SMEs gain access to our plug-and-play factories. These fully-equipped, pre-fabricated units are ready for immediate use, eliminating the need for costly construction and machinery procurement.
Shared Services and Resources
Access to key services such as logistics providers, packaging providers, and quality standards through UNBS.
